This week students will be presenting their first oral project. With a partner, they will discuss a French food dish. Their conversation will include comments about the difficulty of prepartion, six ingredients or utensiles used (or not used), three quantities, and the command forms of the verbs. Students must also include three stores they could visit to buy their ingredients. (Stores should be types of stores, not proper names.) Bonus will be awarded by using the object pronouns y and en. Students may bring in one or both of the recipes discussed for tasting by the class.

Monday night is French conversation with the adults of the Gainesville community. This month we will be meeting at Oxer Farm in Clermont. Maps are available in Madame Friedman's room. Students in level III honors should make every attempt to speak the langauge and what better way to learn than to put themselves into a short, social, immersion session. Extra credit will be rewarded for student who attend and make the attempt of conversation.

Daily students will have a short "bell ringer" activity as a start up activity. These are short activities, usually from previous lessons.
